Shanghai Trip Day 5

Day 5 - 1st Jan 2008

We slept until around noon on the 1st day of 2008 because we only managed to get onto the cab back at 4am!! Can't rem what time we reached Des's apartment.. after which, we bathed and slept I think.. can't rem much of what happened.. guess it's e beer effect.

We had lunch at a Tim Sum Restaurant near Desmond's House..

Went to the Bund (shanghai tang) at night..

The view is simply breathtaking but the wind is also very strong.. it's really cold because of the water (huangpu river)..

The Oriental Pearl Tower..

After taking some photos outdoor at the bank of the river opp. the oriental pearl, we went to sit the underwater tunnel car (similar to cable car but underwater) to get across the river to the other bank of the river.

After we reached the other side, we went for underwater creatures+buddha statues tour..

Then, we went to Shangri-La hotel to buy bread for our breakfast the next morning..

After that, we had dinner at a Italian restaurant.. we took alot of photos with our food but decided to just upload this one showing our dinner only.. just our delicious food and drinks.

After eating, it's more photo-taking at the bund.. it's a really romantic place to be with ur lover if there's only the 2 of u.. see alot of couples there.. hmm.. I guess it's like singapore river, esplanade..
